Allows a doctor to practise on his own anywhere in Singapore.

Eligibility requirements:

• holds an MBBS degree awarded by the National University of Singapore and a certificate of experience as proof of satisfactory completion of housemanship; or

• who holds such qualifications as may be recognised by the Medical Council and a certificate of experience as proof of satisfactory completion of housemanship and satisfies the Medical Council that he has special knowledge and skills and sufficient experience in any particular branch of medicine.

Note:
The Medical Council requires a foreign-trained doctor who has been granted conditional registration, to complete a specified period of service under conditional registration before he can apply for full registration. Approval for full registration is subject to good assessment reports on his performance while in service under conditional registration.
