Providers from Hospitals,Public Institutions, Professional Bodies, Institutes of Higher Learning and Education institutions
Applicants replacing an account holder must obtain a new CME provider account from SMC before logging in with SingPass.
Information
The following entities are eligible to be accredited CME providers:
Private hospitals, VWO-run community hospitals/hospices that hold a valid Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) licence issued by the Ministry of Health, Singapore;
Institutions (acute hospitals, specialty centres, community hospitals, polyclinics, medical centres and cluster HQ) under the three regional public healthcare clusters (i.e. National Healthcare Group, National University Health System and Singapore Health Services);
Government ministries and statutory boards;
Professional Bodies (Academy of Medicine, Singapore, College of Family Physicians, Singapore and Singapore Medical Association);
Public institutes of higher learning (eg. University, Tertiary institution) and their subunits (e.g. medical research centres);
Education institutions conducting certified CPR, AED, BCLS and ACLS courses.
If the applicant is replacing an account holder but does not have a CME provider account, he/she would need to obtain a new CME provider account from SMC before he/she can log in with a Singpass Account. Please email smc_cme@spb.gov.sg and provide information (such as Name/Email address) of an existing CME provider account holder in his/her department to facilitate the issuance of a new CME provider account.
