HR Personnel / CPE Providers / Professional Bodies to use CorpPass for SMC E-Services in PRS from 28 April 2017

The Singapore Corporate Access (CorpPass) is a corporate digital identity for businesses to transact online with government agencies. By the end of 2017, CorpPass will be required for business transactions with the Government.

The Singapore Medical Council is pleased to announce that e-services in the SMC Professional Registration System (PRS) can be accessed via CorpPass from 28 April 2017 onwards.

We wish to inform you that with this implementation, all HR Personnel, CPE Providers and Professional Bodies will be required to use CorpPass to access the SMC PRS by 1 Jan 2018.

Please note the following timelines for change-over for both CorpPass and Non-CorpPass Account Holders:

CorpPass Account Holders:

• If your company/business entity has already obtained CorpPass for transactions with government agencies, you are encouraged to use CorpPass to access the SMC PRS from 28 April 2017 onwards.

• New SMC PRS account applicants must ensure that they have a valid CorpPass before they can access the SMC PRS from 28 April 2017.

Non-CorpPass Account Holders:

• If your company/business entity has not obtained CorpPass, you may continue to log into the SMC PRS using your existing Login ID and Password until 31 Dec 2017.

• However, you will be required to use CorpPass to access the SMC PRS by the end of this transition period.
