Removal of Names from SMC’s Register of Medical Practitioners

Pursuant to section 31(f) of the Medical Registration Act (Cap 174), the name of any person who has not renewed their practising certificate (PC) for a continuous period of not less than 2 years and who cannot be contacted or sent any document using their particulars in the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)'s Register shall be removed from the Register of Medical Practitioners. 

SMC is in the process of trying to contact previously active medical practitioners who have not renewed their PCs for a continuous period of not less than 2 years through their last known particulars as provided by them in the SMC’s Register.
