Singapore Medical Council Election 2015 – Online Voting System

8 October 2015

  1. The Singapore Medical Council (SMC) Election 2015 will be held from Thursday, 22 October 2015 (0800hrs) to Thursday, 5 November 2015 (2359hrs). The election will be conducted via an online voting system, which is integrated with the existing Professional Registration System (PRS). The online voting system will replace the previous tele-voting system.

  2. Closer to the election date, you can access the Election portal by logging into the PRS via the

    SMC website using your SingPass or PRS UserID (Your MCR number) and Password. Please note that the PRS is best viewed using Internet Explorer 8.0 or above.

  3. We would like to remind you that voting is compulsory for all eligible voters as stipulated under Section 6 of the Medical Registration Act and eligible voters who fail to vote without a valid reason will be liable to a fine of S$500.
