Singapore Medical Council names Professor Chee Yam Cheng as its New President

The Singapore Medical Council has elected Professor Chee Yam Cheng as its new President with effect from 20 August 2019. Current President, Professor Tan Ser Kiat will complete his term in the Council on 19 August 2019, after being at the helm for nine years.

The Council expresses its appreciation to Professor Tan for his dedication to the profession, and invaluable contributions to the Council and the medical community. At the same time, the Council extends a warm welcome to Professor Chee and looks to his leadership and guidance in the next lap.
